Tygerberg Heritage Festival, is an innovative collaborative project between Bold Moves and MES, with support from Voortrekker Road Corridor Improvement District (VRCID), The Greater Tygerberg Partnership and JayDee. The Festival’s purpose is to recognise and celebrate Tygerberg’s vibrant cultural diversity; and promote racial reconciliation. The tagline for the festival is ‘Building Bridges’ between local people, businesses and organisations irrespective of race, sex, age, faith, sexual orientation, and social / educational / economic & cultural background. The core values guiding the Festival are Respect, Love & Integrity.
We thank God for the organisers of this initiative, the HewLin Compassion team (including those that could not attend - Jesse Savaal, Henry Booysen, Berenice Booysen, Joshua van Zijl), Teach Love Care Network and all our partners and sponsors that contributed to us winning this award.
Kind regards and Blessings,
